Welcome to
Eulogies by Fiona
Hello, I’m Fiona…
Firstly, I’m so sorry for the loss that’s brought you here.
I know how overwhelming it can be when planning a funeral or other memorial event to ensure that you’re able to give your loved one the eulogy or memorial that you know they deserve. With so much to come to terms with, if you don’t feel confident that you can do this on your own it can add pressure you don’t need at an already traumatic and stressful time.
You don’t have to do it alone. I want to help to relieve that pressure by working with you to produce a eulogy that you can be proud of. A eulogy that will capture the essence of your loved one and help those who hear it delve deeper into their own precious memories.
Let me help you to ensure that the ones you have loved in life are beautifully remembered in their passing.
Most importantly, take great care of yourself.
Why Eulogies by Fiona?
I am a skilled storyteller and it’s been the bulk of my career over the last 25+ years in marketing, communications and copywriting.
More importantly, I have been where you are now. I have experienced the overwhelming grief and trauma that comes with losing someone I have loved so much.
My mum died when I was 19 years old and my dad died in 2019. I remember feeling so overwhelmed by everything I was feeling and that needed to be done. I also desperately wanted to ensure they would be remembered as they would want.
If that’s how you’re feeling now, I understand, and I can help relieve some of that pressure.
I will sensitively help you to identify your most loved stories and memories and support you in sharing them well. These memories are precious to you and that makes them precious to me.
When can Eulogies by Fiona help?
The obvious time is at a funeral, but it’s not the only time. There are lots of occasions where you might like to present a memorial for someone you’ve loved.
Perhaps they chose a direct cremation with no formal funeral but you’re having a memorial event for them. Or perhaps you’re organising an event to commemorate the setting of your loved one’s headstone.
Sometimes employers want to remember a loved colleague and would like a speech to recognise their contribution to the business and its culture. Whatever the reason or occasion, Eulogies by Fiona can help provide a beautiful and heartfelt memorial.

How it works
Full eulogy writing service
Firstly, you will need to complete an initial form which gives me the basic information about your deceased loved one and the arrangements for their funeral or other memorial event that the eulogy is needed for.
You can then book a briefing call on Zoom where I will sensitively ask the questions that will help me to learn more about your loved one and identify the stories and memories you want to share. It will also be a good chance to check any other requirements put in place by your venue. As many people as you like can join the call but I would suggest no more than four so that the eulogy content doesn’t become too complex.
With your permission, I will record this session. This is for a couple of reasons. Firstly, I want to be sure that I have correct information. More importantly, I want to be able to listen attentively to you. Sharing some of your favourite and most cherished memories of your deceased loved one with someone who is actively taking notes can feel like you’re not being properly listened to – and that’s not how I want you to feel.
After this call, I will submit a first draft to you. You can then send me any changes that you would like and these will be made. The fee includes this first set of changes. Any changes made after this will lead to an additional charge.
Once you have a eulogy that you are happy with, I will send this to you with an audio file of me reading it so you can hear how it could be delivered.
Price: £145 + £30 per additional round of changes.
How it works
Eulogy editing service
Firstly, you will need to complete the initial information form which will give me additional context and then you can email me your draft of the eulogy to fiona@eulogiesbyfiona.co.uk. Please let me know how you would like me to help – editing for length, flow of the content or just to review for feedback. I will then make any changes that I think could be helpful and send it back to you with an audio file of me reading it so you can hear how it could be delivered.
Price: £60 + £30 per additional round of changes.

We will then work together to alleviate them. I will also share some tips and tricks and rehearse your presentation with you. This will ensure that, when the time comes, you can be as confident as possible in presenting your eulogy.
